Hollywood horseback riding

Booked the horseback riding a couple a days before hand to have a family experience. None of us knew how to ride a horse and that didn't matter. God's Grace and Blessings are still plentiful. The horses were calm and very well behaved even though one got a huge rock caught in it's hoof on the trail. The riding experience was well worth the price and now my family will be talking about it for years to come! My 11 year old son was a bit nervous at first, but his nerves turned to an ear to ear smile and laughter. Beautiful scenery, and was very close to the Hollywood sign. Ashley was our guide and she really kept the horses moving and was VERY polite! My whole family LOVED riding the horses and plan to do a longer event next time! I took a video, but not pictures. Even my wife had a wonderful time riding. She didn't know what to expect and wants to do the longer ride now. Thank You Sunset Ranch, and Thank You Ashley. Please pay attention to their instructions on how to guide the horse; I had very little problems out of my horse "Tank."

people there are generally friendly. the tour was fun and is beginner friendly. My slot was slightly smaller group than the previous one which makes it less stressful and more privacy. Shout out to our guide Ashley, she have been amazing showing us around the trail while giving us tips on how to ride a horse from time to time. It's a unique way to explore the trail!

Good experience. We did the hour-long tour on a weekday for $75 per person. The staff and the horses are great, and the ride was very pleasant. You get some great views of the city with a good breeze that keeps from getting too hot. You get a glimpse of the Hollywood sign on the way back to the stables. However, near the parking lot you can hike up a little bit and get some additional pictures if you like. On the downside, we had booked the 9:00 am tour, but we did not get started until 9:45 am. Not a big deal, but if you've got plans later in the morning, be warned the first tour of the day may not get started on time. Also, the pace of the tour was slower than we would have liked. We've done horseback riding at other locations, and this one felt much slower. Altogether, still a good experience.

Loved it, My first time on a Horse. I would definitely recommend it to anyone if you're not afraid of heights or horses. It was a nice Horseride up the Hill and down. The Horses do go along the edge so be ready for that, it's safe but can be intimidating and scary for someone. I went by myself and felt really relaxed and loved the city view along the trail.

Celebrated here for the weekend for my daughters birthday. If you love horses, this place is for you. The crew was very friendly. We selected the first opening to avoid the heat. The horse riding lasts about 45 minutes. You go up a hiking trail with hikers along route, then go back down. Very good experience.
